Swart Atomic Space Tone Jr.
Description
This is my first attempt at a NAM profile. This is a capture of the preamp settings I like on the Swart Atomic Space Tone Jr. The sound with more bite has a Klon style boost in front to add a TINY amount of grit and is a lot more compressed and gritty. I’m attempting to mimic Julian Lage’s Live at the Arclight tone here… but perhaps this has evolved into its own thing. This amp is based on the Gibson Skylark, apparently. But I really don’t hear that except I can detect a lot more presence than more complex tone stacks. This sound is one I just keep coming back to for fingerstyle jazz. I play this one on the neck pickup of a Tele. The bridge sounds pretty good too. I like my Fender Super Champ 8” IR with this one. They’re meant to be together, so I linked it below.
